Team Innovation - “Miracle”
A Keynote session presented by
Stephanie Mello, Vice President,
The Employee Engagement Group

Coaching teams to deliver successful results is often a challenge for learning and development professionals. Whether the teams are our own training groups, teams in other departments, or teams within our clients’ organizations, innovative approaches are key to becoming more effective.

Bring the excitement of the US Men’s 1980 Olympic Hockey team to your home ice.  This moving presentation will change your thinking about innovation, development, commitment and leadership, while showing you how to stretch goals and get results.

Herb Brooks, Coach of US Men’s Hockey team, realized he could not beat the storied USSR team using conventional methods. Instead, Brooks used innovative strategies to build a winning team and defeat the Russians, considered by many to be the greatest sports achievement of the 20th Century.  You can implement this approach.

Take-Aways:
• Innovation(the architect of the present can’t design the future)
• Impact of Making the Right Selection - “right fit” over skill
• Preparation: 80% Execution and 20% Strategy
• Achievement - The Engagement Driver
• Critical Components: Teamwork and Culture
• Leadership = Tough Decisions
• It is your time
