The ATD Greater Boston Chapter Special Interest Group on Learning Measurement Presents:

Build a Learning Ecosystem and Measure the Value of Your Learning

Janne Hietala

Chief Visionary Officer - Valamis

October 28, 2020

2:00 PM to 3:15 PM

VIRTUAL EVENT - Link in registration email

Join this session and you will learn the basics of learning ecosystems and how to leverage the Total Learning Architecture (TLA) approach when building your own learning ecosystem. The TLA approach will help you find ways to get rid of silos of learning within your organization and compile all of your data in one place. We will look at a few case examples to understand the challenges, needs, and opportunities for different stakeholders. Discover how to aggregate learning content and data from multiple sources, and build a learner-centric, data-driven concept.   The goal is to use data to provide insights that can be utilized by the learners, L&D teams, management, and the business overall.

By attending this session, you will know how to:

  • Describe the basic building blocks of learning ecosystems
  • Apply the Total Learning Architecture in different use cases at an organization
  • Leverage xAPI statements, an LRS, and other tools to track and measure your learning -- regardless of where it happens
  • Combine various sources of work performance data to learning data, in order to measure learning impact
