Proving the Value of Soft Skills

“Soft skills,” are becoming increasingly important in enabling individuals and companies to succeed in today’s business environment.  These skills involve managing the complexities of interpersonal relationships in driving results.  They are a critical component of leadership, teamwork, sales, customer service and other key roles.  How can you demonstrate that developing “soft skills” leads to “hard results” in your company?

While Learning & Development professionals certainly understand the importance of soft skills to business success, they frequently find it challenging to demonstrate the business value of investing in soft skill development.  However, those who successfully implement a systematic measurement process often report compelling findings of the value of soft skills, and are better able to gain executive support for their initiatives.

Welcome Session

Do you have questions about chapter membership? Then please join us for a monthly Welcome Session at 6 PM on the third Thursday of each month. The session is 45 minutes and will include information about our chapter, local and national membership options, and an opportunity to meet members of the board.
