A Look at Popular Myths & Models in Training and Development

This is one presentation designed not to leave you feeling bad that your organization lacks a virtual reality based campus, your badgification program is practically non-existent; and you are not sure your 70:20:10 model is on target.   We will spend   time looking at some of the hype, myths, concepts and models that are popular themes for articles, webinars and blogs.  You will leave this presentation with some insights about these popular topics, and what the research really says or does not say.  This can be the starting point to develop you point of view about things like:
  • Is 70:20:10 Learning Engagement Model right for your company?
  • If 90% of adults have cell phones, should I be redesigning content for mobile learning?
  • Will learning analytics pay off for your organization?
Note the Date Change from our Normal 2nd Tuesday of Every Month.
