Have you been wondering what all the fuss is about when it comes to “social learning?” Perhaps you are in the planning phases or are about to implement…or you may honestly not really know what social learning is! At ATD Greater Boston’s first learning event of 2019, join us to learn about the journey Dell has embarked on to bring peer to peer learning out of the shadows. Frank Dewey, Director of Talent and Culture, will share the approach Dell is taking to enable employees to formally and informally learn from one another.

Frank, a dynamic and highly skilled HR executive, will share his experiences on:

  • Strategic planning: The importance of creating a plan for social learning, identifying whom to include in the planning process, and other considerations.
  • How Dell implemented their strategy: The tools used, the planned approach, and the engagement of learners.
  • Initial findings: Lessons learned, organizational impact, and the next steps.

And, of course, we will use a little social learning of our own to discuss and share ideas! Please join us at Northeastern University on January 9!

Dinner will be provided.

Transportation Information:

The location of the event can be accessed by the Orange and Green E Lines. If you are driving, we recommend parking in the Renaissance Parking Garage located at 835 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02120.
