Come join Greater Boston ASTD as we ring in the New Year at our Holiday Social and Chapter Recognition Event – January 14, 2014, 6:00-8:30pm.
You are all invited to come celebrate the winter holidays and help us recognize the efforts of our members, volunteers, sponsors and contributors over the past year. Our January Learning Event will include a great opportunity for networking and socializing, formal recognition of those who helped the chapter become enormously successful.
We will also be treated to hear from GBASTD member, Mary McWalter, as she shares her “Ten Tips to Increase Your Chances of Passing the CPLP – (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance)”. Attendees will learn from Mary’s experience passing the CPLP. She will give an overview of the CPLP program and its components, and will also share tips for passing the CPLP exam and work product submission.
Currently a Technical Trainer at Boston Private Bank (since 2011) where she designs and develops technical and operational training including both instructor-led, e-learning, video tutorials and webinars.
She earned her CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) from the ASTD Certification Institute in 2013. She has a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from the National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland, and a Master of Science in Human Resources Counseling from Northeastern University, Boston.
